Professional

     I graduated from Konawa High School in 1993.  I attended Seminole Junior College for two years before transferring to Southeastern Oklahoma State University.  I graduated from Southeastern in 1997 with a Bachelor's in Math Education.  In 2007, I graduated East Central University with a Masters in Library Media.  I taught 3rd grade for 1 year and 4th grade for 3 years at Tishomingo Elementary.  I taught 6^th, 7^th, and 8th grade math at Tishomingo Middle School 10 years.  I am currently teaching Algebra 1 and Intermediate Algebra at the High School.  I am currently licensed to teach elementary education grades 1-8, Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Analysis, General Math, Statistics, and Computer Sciences/Applications.  In 2021, I became Google Level 1 Certified.

     I love teaching at the High School.  I enjoy working with high school age kids and the environment is great!   I helped coach the 2009-2010 6th & 7th State Academic Champions.  It was an exciting victory and an honor for the team.

Personal

   I married the love of my life, Paul Gilbert, in 1994.  I have 2 beautiful daughters, Brittany and Daria.  I gained a son, Drake, in 2020. My first grandson, Gatlin, was born October 2022. I love to spend time with my family.  We enjoy outdoor activities.  We love Oklahoma Sooner sports and the Oklahoma City Thunder!
