Whitney (Callen) Slover
PROFESSIONAL:
In 1996, I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Oklahoma State University. I then obtained my Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 1998, also from OSU. Go Pokes!!!
I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association(ASHA). I also have a state license in Speech-Language Pathology from the Oklahoma Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. I have worked as a speech-language pathologist in the public schools for the past 15 years, serving several different school districts: Marietta, Rock Creek, Caddo, Springer, and Milburn. I have just begun my eleventh year with Tishomingo Public Schools. Currently, I serve the Elementary School, Middle School, High School, INCA HeadStart and the Chickasaw Nation HeadStart here in Tishomingo.
PERSONAL:
I am a native of Johnston county. Growing up, I attended and graduated from Milburn School. My mom was an elementary teacher there and my dad served as the high school principal for 18 years. I am married to Marty Slover, who is a graduate of Tishomingo Schools. We are blessed with two amazing children, a son named Callen and a daughter named Keaton.
