This is my fifth year with Tishomingo Public Schools. This is my second year with Tishomingo Elementary School. This year, I’ll be teaching 5^th grade reading and English/language arts. Prior to moving to the elementary, I taught 7^th and 8^th grade English at the middle school. 

This is my 22^nd year as a teacher. I’ve taught grades 4^th through 12^th grades in Texas and in Oklahoma. I’ve taught many different classes, but teaching reading is my all-time favorite! 

I’ve been married for 19 years to Jeff Alexander. He teaches elementary PE and coaches football, basketball, and is the head track coach. We have 4 amazing kiddos: Olivia (THS alumni and Murray State College student), Hudson (THS junior), Luke (TMS 7^th grader), and Kade (TES 5^thgrader.)

I enjoy watching my kids in their various sporting events (which takes up most of our time!) I also enjoy reading, shopping, and playing golf. We are a football family and my favorite teams are the Oklahoma Sooners, Kansas City Chiefs, and of course, the Tishomingo Indians!
